Offered here is the Wehrpass of a famous Third Reich personality; it is infact the personal Wehrpaß of SS-Standartenführer and Oberst der Gendarmerie Georg Attenberger, born on 23.10.1897.
Attenberger was NSDAP and SS member with the following numbers:
NSDAP number: 9239295
SS number: 314197
He also had control of the SS-Abschnitt XXXIX.
Attenberger was a recipient of the "SS-Ehrenring" (so-called "Totenkopfring").
The Wehrpaß was issued by "Wehrbezirks-Kommando Brünn" without a date with originally attached photograph. On the WP there are listed all the units he served with from 1916 until 1920 (noted to page 12) and all the promotions up to a Leutnant on page 22.
Furthermore, awards and campaigns are readable on pages 23, 32 and 33.
He would have received a 2nd issue Wehrpaß later.
