This is an absolutely killer piece. A uniform you can only see, maybe, a couple of times in your collector life.

It is a tunic for Ukrainian Schutzmannschaft (auxiliary police) used in 1942.

Type of tunic is like a early SS one; it is made in heavy black wool, with collar, french cuffs (at the end of the sleeves) and two diagonally angled slash hip pockets made in light blue fabric (this fabric was mostly used in WWI and leftovers rarely used in WWII).

On the left sleeve there is the Ukrainian shield in blue and yellow cotton and the rank chevron, both hand stitched.

Tunic is fully lined in grey rayon. It shows usage, light blue is faded; overall patina is amazing.

An impressive, incredibly rare, tunic.
