EARLY BLACK ALLGEMEINE-SS TUNIC "112" STANDARTE LITZMANNSTADT

SOLD!

Here listed a killer example of an early black service tunic of a SS-Hauptscharführer in the Allgemeine-SS Standarte 112 based on the city of Litzmannstadt.

Overall condition is excellent, it is an untouched tunic with all the insigna in place.

Made in german wool with a single white and black shoulder board, collar tabs with black and white piping and "Alter Kampfer" rank chevron. The collar tabs are machine sewn to the collar, traces of oxidation are visible under them. The right collar tab has a hand bullion embroidered number 112.

On the left sleeve is still present, machine sewn, the black cufftitle with the bullion embroidered number 5, indicating the battalion.

A SS armband is hand sewn to the left sleeve, it is a classic multi-piece one, made in red wool and white and black rayon disc and stripes.

The tunic is fully lined in black rayon and the sleeves with black and white striped rayon.

A wonderful piece of history, very rare to find a such type of Allgemeine-SS uniform.
