Cigarette case in silver with hand engraving. A remembrence case of the famous battle of Crete happened in 1941.
Inside the case is still well visible the hand made engraving "Heraklion" (the place), "20.5.41" (the date of the german invasion) and "KRETA" with a wonderful drawing of the para badge over the shape of the Kreta island. On the other panel of the cigarette case is possible to read the name of the owner "W. Oisch" and his unit "III/F.J.R. 1", third company of the first Para Regiment.
On the top rim of the case are present the silver marks.
A wonderful historical piece in very good condition.
