A very nice and in great condition Julleuchter, or known as the Jul candle holder, used from the SS during the winter solstice.
Julleuchter was awarded to SS men and its possession was registered also in Personalakten (personal documents of the SS office).
This Julleuchter is made in light clay and is a type 3 pattern and it is published in the number 200 of the magazine "Uniformi & Armi" in an article written by Antonio Scapini about the Julleuchter.
An important historical SS piece.
