Commemorative medal created to award the German soldiers who participated in the October 1, 1938, annexation of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia by Germany. It depicts two male figures representing the Sudetenland being freed from its shackles by Nazi Germany.
Medal came complete with its original ribbon and safety pin, plus the "Prager burg Spange", or the Prague Castle clasp. The clasp is the classic version with large pins and shows the HC lettering.
Case is in nice condition and the closure button works well.
