Flag is a textbook type, printed on a wool base fabric; on the rope there's the maker marking: "Witte K.G. München" along with the size marking: "150 x 250", the type marking "Kr. fl." that stands for "Kriegs Flagge" (or "War Flag") and the Kriegsmarine acceptation stamp (the eagle over the letter "M" – where "M" stands for Marine).
A great war flag that perfectly fits for a thematic area or display corner. A museum piece.
