HJ KNIFE – PUGNALE HITLERJUGEND (SOLD)

This Hitler Youth Knife is a undated, possibly a early/mid-war made example.
The bake-o-lite checkered grip plates are in good condition and are retained by nickel-plated steel rivets. The Hitler Youth grip insignia is in perfect condition having fine enamel with bright red, white, gold and black swastika colors.
The scabbard shell is straight throughout. This shell has part of its original black paint and some rust. The brown leather belt loop and grip retainer strap are still supple and in good condition with a fine working snap with plated button.
The blade though is the best feature of this fine Hitler Youth knife. This blade is still bright and has all of the original factory graining. This blade, other than the normal runner marks, is in good condition. It is the type blade with ricasso and is marked with the stamp of the maker "Gust. L. Köller" of Solingen-Wald.
The original black leather blade washer is in place but it is broken.
