Exceptionally rare and desirable "Metz 1944" cufftitle, the most rare campaign-award cufftitles of the Third Reich.

Constructed of black wool, with grey embroidered latin letters, 42cm (or 17 inches); the top and bottom edges are bordered by machine stitched silvery-grey, Russian braiding; in slightly worn condition. great condition.

This cuff title was introduced on October 24, 1944. It was worn by all participants of the Battle of Metz (belonging to the "Kampfgruppe von Siegroth"), as well as by all members of the Infantry Officer Candidates School VI in Meseritz, but only as long as they were assigned to the school.

A piece of history with great value that only few can be proud to own.
