"STALINGRAD" CYPHERS of the 44. Reichsgrenadier-Division

Very rare pair of "Stalingrad" shoulder board cyphers, were worn by members of the 44. Reichsgrenadier-Division "Hoch- und Deutschmeister" re-built after the Stalingrad defeat.
This post-Stalingrad division was allowed to wear the so-called "Stalingrad Cross" on their shoulder boards.
Cypers are matching, they are die struck made with hollow-construction and they are magnetic (some typical "cracks" are visible on the corners). The original blue paint is still present. On the back side all the four prongs are in place, originally soldered.
A rare matching pair in very nice condition.
