Sleeve Badge made with a die-stamped bronze gilt insignia, 37 mm, with three slotted holes, sewn upon a 50 mm x 55 mm thick diamond-shaped black wool field (wrapped on a buckram base), in extremely fine condition. Unworn, just with a nice patina of its 80+ years.
A not common sleeve badge to see.
Footnote: Formed by Ritter von Epp during the Freikorps period, the Bund was formed in 1933 by its remaining veterans using a version of the insignia used in 1919.
