PANZERJÄGER HAUPTMANN SHOULDER BOARDS MATCHING SET

SOLD!

A gorgeous set of removed Panzerjäger Hauptmann Boards.

They are sew-in boards, with stitch holes at the end where they were once sewn in to the shoulder seams of an officer’s tunic. They show light, even wear; there is a shift in the toning at the point where they were sewn in and where was the button, typical of pieces like this that saw use in the field.

The underside of each of these shoulder boards is made of beautiful pink Panzer wool, which retains great color, with no moth holes or other damage. The top of each board has a wartime aluminium "P" cypher indicating the original owner was assigned to a Panzerjäger (anti-tank) unit.

These Panzerjäger Hauptmann Boards are a great, desirable example of German Army officer insignia, with a wonderful "field" look.

They are in excellent condition. A scarce set, perfect for display or a restoration project.
