GROSSDEUTSCHLAND EM/NCO CUFFTITLE
Heer, machine-embroidered, EM/NCO's 3rd pattern cufftitle ("Ärmelstreifen") as was intended for an enlisted man (or NCO) who served within the famous: "GrossDeutschland" Division. The piece is executed in black-coloured moleskin base fabric and shows the cotton embroidered text "Grossdeutschland" in so called Sütterlin script.
The cufftitle was clearly tunic removed, it shows a nice light patina ad the proper signs of usage and wearing. It remains in a very nice condition (it was neatly period-folded and stitched-together and came as moderately worn and carefully tunic-removed).
A very nice, and nowdays not easy to find, Grossdeutschland cufftitle.
