Cap is approximately of size 57. Side eagle is the second type, introduced in 1937 and is machine sewn.
Inside the overseas cap is fully lined; lining is made of grey cotton and the maker "Clemens & Wagner" stamp is still partially visible.
The skull button is of the feldgrau type.
