ARTILLERY OFFICER VISOR CAP

Nice quality, field-grey wool and rayon blend construction visor cap with a subtle whipcord weave, a blue/green badge cloth centerband and red wool waffenfarbe piping to the crown edge and both the top and bottom edges of the centerband.
The internal crown stiffening wire and an internal vertical stiffener to the front center are both intact and give the cap a lovely shape. The front center of the cap features a metallic national eagle.
The front center of the centerband has a metallic oak-leaf wreath encompassing a three piece national tri-color cockade.
The cap has a twisted silver/aluminum chin cord which is secured in place by two, small, silver washed, pebbled, alloy buttons. The cap has a black lacquered vulcanfibre visor.
The interior of the cap is fully lined in yellow colored rayon and cotton.
Sweatband is still soft and perfectly factory machine sewn to the cap body.
The visor cap is in overall excellent/mint condition with minimal age and usage toning.
