Very nice NSDAP Kreisleiter Visor Cap (Schirmmütze).
The cap is very attractive, with a great saddle shape; the exterior is really nice. The cap is made of a fine brown gabardine wool, with a darker brown cap band. There is no tears or moth damage, just some minor stains on the white wool piping.
The insignia have great original gold finish, with lots of original luster, and almost perfect colors on the political cockade.
The white wool piping indicates Kreis (District) level. The gold officer chin cord and buttons, and brown artificial leather visor, show only normal, light age, and no damage. The interior of this NSDAP Kreisleiter visor is still in excellent condition, suggesting it may never have been worn. On the orange wax cloth is well visible the mark of the size "56".
The leather sweatband on the interior is complete, with some tearing.Under it is still present the RZM tag with the manufacturer number.
This cap displays extremely well and is a really nice example, in excellent condition overall.
A political visor is always a wonderful piece for a thematic area or mseum.
