Private purchase infantry Officer visor cap, made in fine wool with white wool piping (for Infantry), in good condition.
Aluminium eagle is in place with its original prongs, the bullion cockade is hand stitched to the cap, sweatband is complete, and under it there's sitting in place a period newspaper page.
The maker celluloid diamond is still sewn to the lining and the maker's name is "Luxus".
Lining is complete.
Some moth holes are visible here and there but the are small. Overall patina is very nice.
