This presented here is an impressively rare Waffen SS tropical cap, with factory applied insigna. It is the first I've ever seen in my life with factory applied insigna.
The cap is made in ribbed tan cotton and tan cotton lining. It is marked size 57, has been worn and shows some light soiling and a minor usage, but still in perfect condition. It has a great patina.
Insigna are the correct yellow type.
