PANZER OFFICER OVERSEAS CAP

SOLD!

October 1935 pattern (M34), field-grey tricot wool/rayon blend construction cap with fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides.

The front center of the cap has a machine woven (flat-wire) national eagle on a dark green rayon base. The front center of the fold down panels has a hand stitched national tri-color bullion cockade, round shaped. Both the eagle and the cockade are untouched original to the cap. The cap has an inverted "V" pink soutache flanking the cockade. The soutache has been applied in the correct manner, being machine stitched in place and inserted through two small puncture holes near the bottom edge of the cap.

Alu bullion cord is still in perfect condition.

The interior of the cap is fully lined in gold rayon with leather sweatband on the frontal area.

A wonderful, scarce, early, top quality, overseas cap for Panzer officer.
