Awesome and extremely rare cigarette case in Alpacca with embossed "LAH" logo and ornamental geometric and floreal motifs belonged to a member of the famous 1 SS Division "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler".
Case was brought back from a Russian soldier as souvenir of war. It still remains is very good condition, it was well preserved and shows a very nice patina. Inside the case is still partially visible a hand made writing in cyrillic that says "As remembrance for Yefim from ..." and it is dated 20.4.48. Closure button has the initials of the owner "G.J"; it still perfectly works.
