Impressive KL inmate cap in very good condition.
This one is the typical winter cap with thick blue/gray striped cloth, used in many concentration camps such as Auschwitz, Mauthausen or Buchenwald. It preserves also its lining made with the typical SS fabrics. Possibly used by a male inmate and it's exactly the same model that can be seen in many Holocaust and concentration camp related museums and memorials all over the world. The cap shows a hand embroidered chain stitching number "43278", indicating the number of the prisoner owner.
