VERY RARE SS CAMOUFLAGE SMOCK ITALIAN CAMO

SOLD!

Light weight, cotton/rayon blend construction, three-quarter length, pullover smock with the machine roller printed, italian style, tan/water pattern camouflage. This type of light fabric was only used for clothes production, it is not Zeltbahn fabric.

The smock has a "V" slash neck opening with a central, vertical, opened, dual-ply, front plaquet with five pair of stitched eyelets for a drawstring closure. Drawstring is present and it is its original one.

The smock has two breast pleated pockets.

The bottom edge of the tail skirt has a dual-ply, machine stitched hem. The smock has long, raglan style sleeves with straight cut cuffs. At the end of each cuff there are two strips of fabric with a buckle to adjust the width of the sleeve on the wrist.

The smock has open, reinforced, vented armpits for ventilation.

Shows patina and light use.

This camo smock is something very rare; we are aware of only one other specimen like this.
