HEER INFANTRY OFFICER COMBAT TUNIC

SOLD!

Very nice wool officer combat uniform, with the rank of Leutnant, coming from a huge lot of uniforms just found in the rags depot in Naples.

It is a private tailoring tunic, in very good condition, the general patina is wonderful, with signs of use and some small moth holes, and is complete in all its parts. Tunic is untouched.

Inside is fully lined with the typical ribbed rayon and striped rayon.

Insigna (collar tabs and bullion breast eagle) is hand applied to the tunic with the proper period cotton thread.

On both the shoulder boards, with the white piping indicating the Infantry, there are the metallic cyphers with the number "26", indicating the 26 Infanterie-Regiment of the 30 Infanterie Division (that fought from the French Campaign to the Demjansk pocket, until the end of the war in the Kurland pocket), on the left breast pocket there are 4 loops for 2 awards. Traces of EK2 ribbon sewings on the second buttonhole.

A real worn infantry combat uniform in every aspect.

An untouched, wonderful real piece of history.
