Personal letter from SS-Obergruppenführer and General der Waffen-SS Karl Wolff to Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler.
Commander of all SS forces in Italy and SS liaison officer to Adolf Hitler. He was also a very close friend of Reinhard Heydrich. Awarded with German Cross in gold, SS Honor Ring, SS Honor Sword and NSDAP Golden Party Badge. On 30. September 1964 he was convicted of war crimes to 15 years.
Handwritten and signed letter by Karl Wolff. In the letter he regrets the death of Theodor Eicke, which was killed two days before. Dated "27.II.1943 at 9.45 o'clock (p.m.)". Notes to the reverse. Two holes.
