Beautiful gorget (Ringkregen) of the Wehrmacht Feldgendarmerie (Military Police) in very good condition, with only a small area that looks to be restored at some point, but very hard to know when.
Gorget is made out of steel and coated with silver paint; the back side has its original pressstof leather backing and all the original radio active yellow paint is still intact and it glows in the dark.
Gorget is complete in all its parts and shows a slight patina of time; it is an unmarked example so made from an unknown maker.
A wonderful and complete Feldgendarmerie gorget, perfect to complete a display corner or for a museum thematic area.
