This Himmler hand signed appointment proposal was signed in Berlin on July 3, 1942.
It is a recommendation for the appointment of Austrian Rudolf Samek to the rank of Oberst of the Gendarmerie. Samek would later be promoted Kommandeur der Gendarmerie in Charkow and Generalmajor der Polizei.
