WWII German Model 1942 Police Double Decal Helmet.
This example has a smooth dark finish that remains a solid 85-90% intact. The bordered police decal checks in at 90% and the party shield is 90% intact. The brown leather liner has small traces of wear and is still soft.
The liner is a size 54, there is a drawstring. The liner band is zinc and marked 1944, so the helmet is a very late war production.
The size of the helmet is 62. The rear skirt is stamped with the steel lot number. There is a brown leather chinstrap that has very light wear and is complete.
A very good display piece.
