WAFFEN-SS OFFICER VISOR CAP "HPC"

Awesome and rare privately purchased HPC visored hat (Schirmmütze) for a Waffen-SS officer.
This example has a fashionable shape to the peak, the cap body is made of feldgrau Trikot wool, cap band is made of black velvet and with white wool piping, having a black fiber visor. Insignia were removed at some point, possibly immediately after the war; a neat shadow is visible in the place where they were.
The visor was slightly worn and it shows a soft age toning and wear, while the external parts and fabrics still remain in great condition, the sweatband was mostly removed (see pictures). The lining (made in soft light yellow colored rayon) and the celluloid diamond of the maker are still there and in great condition too. This visor cap is absolutely untouched, for sale as it was found.
One of the few original Waffen-SS visor caps on the market made by HPC; a rare piece of History.
