Hitlerjugend summer side cap (Hitlerjugend Sommermütze) made from the ribbed cotton summer fabric.
The cap was worn, shows some stains, and usage, but it is complete.
The size is quite large and the size mark is still visible on the sweatband (56); under the sweatband is still attached the RZM tag (uncomplete). Yellow piping in rayon indicates the side cap was worn by a member of the signals troops.
The HJ diamond is the BeVo style one and is hand sewn to the front.
Nice patina.
